Thankfully for a girl with a size 10.5 wide foot, the shoe market has so much more to offer than it did even five years ago.

I have seen Circus NY shoes all over my instagram feed and was immediately filling my cart. Circus NY is Sam Edelman’s newest shoe brand. If you’re wanting colorful, trendy, almost Y2K, Instagram “cool girl” shoes, Circus NY is for you. I could not find any info online to see if Circus NY would fit my wide feet but I knew I had to try!
I did a whole shoe try on to share with my Instagram babes and they were obsessed! Are you hanging out with us on Instagram? I had so much feedback, I knew I needed to put this all into a blog post.

Circus NY Show Sizing:
Okay…10.5 wide? How did I get so lucky with the most niche, hard to find shoe size! I typically do a size 11 or if they have a 10.5 wide I snatch it up. Luckily Torrid does a size 10.5 wide, so that’s one of my go to wide width friendly shoe shops.
For reference, each Circus NY shoe I sized up to an 11. All of their shoes are technically width “medium” and size 11 is the largest shoe size they offer. I would love to see them offer extended sizes and a range of widths like Jeffrey Campbell just released! I got so many dm’s saying my audience has been dying to try Circus NY just like I did but was unsure about width.

Trendy Shoe Styles:
Circus NY has some of the cutest shoes I’ve seen in awhile, with most of their offerings being under $100 a pair. It’s the bright colors, the block heels and the Y2K styles that I’m loving. After the pandemic I have given up on a stiletto and will only rock a under 3’ block heel because…comfort.
I love that Circus NY focus on certain styles and then makes each style in a variety of fun colors. Lime green and hot pink heels? Yes please!

Which Circus NY styles were wide width friendly?
Latasha Platform Slide Sandal
I’m buying one in every single color. This style gets the Wide Foot Friendly stamp of approval from us! I originally thought this style might not work because the strap is around the widest point of my foot and there isn’t much stretch but these slide sandals fit so comfortably. I’m really obsessed and I love how these can go from the pool to brunch, to a girls night out.
The Circus NY Latasha Platform Slide Sandal does fit comfortably for those of us with wide width feet.
Laina Platform Sandal
These come in 5 colors and I need to have them all. Is this not the perfect Y2K inspired platform sandal? I got these in white and they fit my wide feet with no issue. The material on the white and the black is a textured, faux leather. I would love to try the colorful terry cloth options. I’m finding it can be hard to keep colorful shoes super clean, I’ve noticed that with my Circus NY shoes.

Which Circus NY shoe styles did not fit my wide width feet?
It’s always a gamble when you have wide width feet, to try new brands. I knew either some could work, none of the styles could fit or if I was super lucky they would all fit. The fact that 2 out of the 4 different styles I tried from Circus NY fit comfortably and I’m obsessed with them, is a total win.
I’m not going to lie and say I wasn’t bummed that the next two styles didn’t fit my wide feet but I think it was important I at least tried to see because they’re so cute. If you don’t have a wide foot and are looking for the cutest block heels on the market, shop Circus NY. These next two styles are heeled styles and both had a functioning strap over the widest point of my foot. I knew this was a risky order! I got both styles in a size 11 and both styles were just a little too tight for me to give them the Wide Width Friendly stamp of approval.
Marlie Platform Mule
The Marlie Platform Mule is Circus NY signature shoe style with 10 color varieties. Unfortunately the style just didn’t fit a wide width comfortably. The wrap around style had little to no stretch. The square toe is so cute, I want one in ever color as soon as they come in wide. I LOVE the chunky heel and the price point just under $100.
I just cant give the Marlie Platform Mule the wide width stamp of approval. This style did not work for my wide feet.
Marianna Padded Heel
I had hopes, dreams and outfits planned for the Marianna Padded Heel! Do you see how cute these are?! Again, if you dont have a wide foot, please buy and wear these for me. The twisted strap was unfortunately at the widest point of my foot so I knew that these might not fit. They were just a little too tight and if the fabric had stretch could have potentially worked. I love all the gorgeous colors they offer each style in!
